Women's Ministry
The BBC Ladies ministry really took off in 2008: following are some of the highlights:
- On the 19th April a successful fund raising tea was hosted for Michelle Arnold (in full time missions ministry - see www.3d-outreach.com).
- Devine Exchange Conference was held over the weekend 17-19 October. Hosted by Streams Fellowship and Debbie Van De Vyver. Ladies were pampered that weekend at Heron Bridge. Guest speakers were Sue Lamb from Streams, Gazella Fick, Rene' Jackson and Debbie Pearson. Part of the Conference Committee were from BBC: Beryl Dean, Tammy Bate and Tanya Imrie
- A Group of ladies from BBC attended the annual Beauty for Ashes Conference (http://www.beautyforashes.co.za/) – check out the website for details of the 2009 conference
- Our final function was held on the 22 November – The Ladies hosted a Christmas tea with demonstrations by Denise Laws (deboning a turkey), Barbara Somerset (Christmas décor making) and entertainment provided by ethnic dancers from Kids Haven).

Ladies Ministry Program for 2009-01-22;
- 14th February – Valentines Dinner Dance with Arnold and Joy Mohl as guests and Arnold as Guest Speaker
- The Ladies Ministry aligns itself with the Ladies from Emmanuel Baptist Church (EBC) in support off BBC’s Etwatwa Outreach Partnership with EBC.
- BBC plans to take a group of ladies to the 2009 Beauty for Ashes Conference
- Various fund raising events – to be announced
